Lesson 2: Part A
Learn to:
- Independently and safely control your kite when entering and exiting the water
- Re-launch your kite in the water
- Complete your first body drag downwind
- Practice correcting kite position in the power zone
- Change directions while body draggin (both left and right)
- Control the kite and bar in the water
Lesson 2: Part B
Learn to:
- Recover your board upwind with body drag
- Body drag upwind while using the kite with one hand
- Body drag upwind to enter and exit at the same place
Lesson 2: Part C
Learn:
- Water start safety rules and methods
- Practice correct feet position on the board to effectively execute a water start
Lesson 2: Part D
Learn to:
- Execute water starts in different directions
- Control your stop
- Understand and interpret weather forecasts of tides and winds and their effects
- Assess current wind strength, direction, and quality
- Ride among all water users and respect right of way rules
- Choose equipment set-up based on the weather forecast
